PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preventing scattering of heavy oil ash while keeping the quality of heavy oil ash. SOLUTION: The device includes a water supply pipe 21 disposed at an outer periphery of a discharge chute for discharging heavy oil ash J to the external, and a plurality of spray nozzles 25 connected with the water supply pipe 21 and spraying the atomized water W toward the scattering particles R of heavy ash J discharged from the discharge chute 10. As the scattering of heavy ash J is prevented, the circumferential environment can be improved. Further as the quality of heavy oil ash J can be properly kept by spraying of the atomized water W, the utility value of the heavy oil ash J can be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
