PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating and cooling apparatus capable of sufficiently securing a heat exchange amount per unit time. SOLUTION: A jacket part 2 is arranged on an outer periphery of a reaction pot 1, and a detachable multitubular heat exchanger 3 is arranged in an inside thereof. A steam supply pipe 15 and a cooling water supply pipe 14 are connected to the jacket part 2 and the mutitubular heat exchanger 3. A protruded resistance plate 5 of which height is lower as going to a lower part is attached on an inner end of the reaction pot 1. An agitating vane 16 is attached to a center part in the reaction pot 1. Compared to the agitating vane 16, an agitating vane 22 on a lower part is larger, and an agitating vane 23 on an upper part is smaller. Steam is supplied from the steam supply pipe 15 to the jacket part 2 and the mutitubular heat exchanger 3, and the reaction pot 1 is heated. Cooling water is supplied from the cooling water supply pipe 14 to the jacket part 2 and the mutitubular heat exchanger 3, and the reaction pot 1 is cooled. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
