PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for elevator comprising a cellular phone terminal for receiving an emergency earthquake flash, locating it in a place easy to catch radio wave of the cellular phone. SOLUTION: This control device for elevator comprises a cellular phone terminal for receiving an emergency earthquake flash, an elevator control panel having a P-wave signal terminal and a low-sensitive earthquake meter signal terminal, and an acceleration sensor for detecting real tremble of a building, and when the cellular phone terminal receives an emergency earthquake flash in a corresponding area, the control device outputs an output of the emergency earthquake flash from the cellular phone terminal and an output from the acceleration sensor to at least one of the P-wave signal terminal and the low-sensitive earthquake meter signal terminal so as to perform the controlled operation in earthquake for stopping the elevator in the nearest floor. The cellular phone terminal, including an antenna part thereof, as a terminal for receiving the emergency earthquake flash is built in landing information display equipment provided in a landing of the highest floor or the upper floors easy to catch the radio wave of the cellular phone.
