PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agitating ball mill with a separator improved so as to cope with extremely small grinding bodies and prevent auxiliary grinding bodies from entering into an outlet for ground material. SOLUTION: The agitating ball mill comprises a cylindrical grinding container (26) having at least one inlet (24) for material to be ground and at least one outlet (34) for ground material, and a separator (30) disposed in front of the outlet (34). An agitating shaft (20) connected to a drive (12) is disposed in the grinding container (26), and transmits a portion of drive energy to the auxiliary grinding bodies discretely disposed in the container (26).
