<p>A modulation unit (12) modulates a packetized data signal. A correction unit (18) adjusts an amplitude component of the modulated data signal. An amplification unit (24) outputs the adjusted data signal after amplifying the signal. A control unit (30) controls operation of the amplification unit (24). The control unit (30) turns ON operation of the amplification unit (24) at the timing of the packet head. When the amplification unit (24) is turned ON, a transient response is generated at the packet head. The correction unit (18) adjusts the amplitude component of the modulated data signal according to inverse characteristic of the transient response in the amplification unit (24).</p> |
