<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a MIMO-OFDM receiving system and a receiver, wherein interference can be suppressed, timing can be reproduced, an accuracy deterioration in the estimate of channels can be compensated, and the transmission of high-speed signals can be realized always in a multi-path environment where co-channel interference occurs. <P>SOLUTION: The MIMO-OFDM receiving system comprises a timing regeneration process of regenerating timing from the received signals which are obtained by receiving OFDM signals that are encoded into N<SB>T</SB>different error correction codes through N<SB>R</SB>antennas, an L linear synthesis process of turning the received signals white and outputting synthetic signals, an L Fourier transform process of transforming the synthetic signals to sub-carrier signals, a signal detecting process of carrying out a calculation of probability by the use of the sub-carrier signals and outputs detection signals, an N<SB>T</SB>error correction decoding process of de-interleaving the detection signals and performing error correction decoding, a parameter estimate process of collectively estimating parameters used in the linear synthetic process and the signal detection process, and a repetition control process of carrying out some or all of the above processes repeatedly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
