<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-mounting structure of a connector where contact pins can be arranged on a pad with high precision even for a connector in which numerous pieces of contact pins are juxtaposed with a narrow pitch. <P>SOLUTION: One end of a contact pin 20 extends outward from a housing 30 and goes straight, goes toward a printing substrate 40 and bends just above it and forms a connecting part 21 at its end. The connecting part 21 is located parallel to the printing substrate 40 and secures the fixing by solder by having its bottom surface grounded at a pad 41. A protruded part 22 is a tongue piece-shaped fitting part protruding downward from the connecting part 21 and it fits a penetrating hole 42 which is provided at the pad 41. The protruding part 22 has a function of guiding the contact pins 20 to the right position in the pad 41, and it has a good processing accuracy as it is formed by punching. Accordingly, numerous pieces of contact pins that are juxtaposed can align accurately on the corresponding pads that are ranged with a narrow pitch. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
