A protective circuit board (410) and a battery pack using the same, which includes a groove (415) formed at one side and receives an external connection terminal (460) in the groove (415), is provided. The protective circuit board for a battery, which is formed by mounting a number of electrical devices on a board on which a wiring pattern is formed and which is connected to a bare cell so as to protect a battery, comprises a groove (415) formed on a surface of the protective circuit board (410), and an external connection terminal (460) formed inside the groove.
