<p>Composition for hydrophobic treatment comprising one or more mixed compounds having the formula (I) in which-at least one R is a Ca F2a+1 group, a being a whole number, where another R may be a Si X3-b R1b group,-b being 0, 1 or 2, X a hydrolyzable group such as alkoxy, hydroxy or halogeno, 1 R a hydrocarbon group such as a lower alkyl-S is a hydrogen atom, an OH group, an alkyl group in particular a lower group such as CH3 or an O or Si group, R2 R3 R4, R2, R3 and R4 being the same or different and consisting in particular of one of the abovementioned groups carried by a Si atom, such as (CH2)2--R, a hydrogen atom, a 2 3 4 alkyl group or O Si R2 R2 R4,-n is a whole number >= 1,-the total number of Si atoms not exceeding 20.-Method of treatment by this composition.-Hydrophobic substrate for glass thus obtained, and its application in particular as glazing.</p> |
