ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE POSITION OF A ROCK REINFORCING BOLT

The position for the carrier is determined using the unit arranged on the drilling rig. The angle for the boom in relation to the carrier is identified by the determination of an angle of the rotation for the articulated connection. The position of the rock reinforcing bolt is determined in the tunnel or mine on the basis of the position of the carrier and the determined angle of rotation. The position of the rock reinforcing bolt is determined on the basis of a length of the boom. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) an arrangement for determining the position of a rock reinforcing bolt installation in a tunnel or a mine; and (2) a drilling rig.
