SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RFID READER COLLISION AVOIDANCE

A system and a method for avoiding collision between RFID readers are provided to control an operation of a system based on adjacent node information of each RFID reader, thereby easily setting the optimum power according to system operation to each reader. A system for avoiding collision between RFID readers comprises an RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) reader(100) and an AP(Access Point)(200). When the system enters a network, the RFID reader senses adjacent nodes. And the RFID reader transmits an action request message to an access point. The AP grasps and stores adjacent nodes of each RFID reader on the network based on state information received from the RFID reader. And the access point transmits an operation response message to the RFID reader. The operation response message is to permit a tag read operation of the RFID reader.
