SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FINDING ILLEGAL COPIED MOBILE PHONE NUMBER

A system and a method for finding an illegal copied mobile phone number by using handoff information are provided to determine whether a number is illegally copied by using handoff information, thereby recognizing whether the number is illegally copied without using a terminal. A BSM(Base Station Manager)(160) comprises a database storing handoff information through a BTS(Base Transceiver Subsystem)(120a~120n) and a BSC(Base Station Controller)(130a~130n). An illegal copy number extracting device(200) extracts handoff information by associating with the base station manager. The illegal copy number extracting device determines whether a location is movable during an interval when handoff occurs to extract an illegal terminal.
