Provided is a pharmaceutical composition containing Piper nigrum extracts or amide compounds isolated from Piper nigrum, which have effects of inhibiting ICAM-1(Intercellular adhesion molecule-1) and LFA-1(Leukocyte function associated antigen-1)-mediated cell adhesion. A pharmaceutical composition for treating inflammation diseases comprises Piper nigrum extracts or amide compounds isolated from Piper nigrum. The Piper nigrum extracts are extracted by water, C1-C4 low alcohol or mixed solvent thereof. The low alcohol indicates methanol, ethanol or butanol. A solvent extract of the Piper nigrum is fractioned by an extraction solvent such as hexane, chloroform and ethylacetate. The Piper nigrum extracts contain compounds represented by the formula 1 to 4 or one of compounds represented by the formula 1 to 4.
