Soft capsule comprises a filler material containing (a) at least a nourishment physiological or pharmaceutical active substance with a cholestane skeleton, (b) 10-100% of a triglyceride, whose acid components consist of fatty acids with a chain length of greater than 8 carbon atoms, (c) 1-40 wt.% of an emulsifier with a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance of greater than 12 and (d) 1-80 wt.% of co-emulsifier with hydrophilic-lipophilic balance of less than 11, where the filler is: a self-emulsified filler and free of water. An independent claim is included for the preparation of the soft capsule comprising providing a shell material and the filler material in a rotary-die-process. The self-emulsification of the filler in a dissolution apparatus is terminated after US Pharmacopeia (USP) within 30 minutes.
