Disposable self-adhesive protection pad comprises flexible cushioning substrate of closed cell or microcellular cross-linked expanded polyolefin foam which in use is wrapped around the contours of the body part to be protected either onto the skin the clothing covering the body part; the substrate has a layer of a pressure sensitive adhesive covering a surface it which removably adheres to the wearer's skin or clothing without damaging the skin or clothing; and a layer of protective film covers the adhesive layer before use. The substrate may have cut out portions 6, 7, 8, and/or be perforated. The adhesive may comprise an acrylic, acrylate or rubber adhesive or double-sided tape. The substrate may also be provided with an outermost water-proof coating. |
