A digital door lock apparatus is provided to open a door without damaging the door or digital door lock by separating a main operating unit and the door by a signal transmitted from an emergency password inputting device. A key transmits an unlock signal from the outside of a door to the indoor device. An emergency password inputting device(430) transmits the unlock signal or main separation signal to the indoor device in an emergency situation outside the door. A main operating unit(110) performs the unlock operation by the unlock signal or the emergency unlock signal. A main detaching unit(120) receives the unlock signal or the emergency unlock signal and transmits the received signal to the main operating unit. The main detaching unit receives the main separation signal and separates the main operating unit.
