A location measuring system of a mobile terminal and a method thereof are provided to immediately notify a service provider of a failed location measuring result to stop a service. A location measuring system of a mobile terminal includes a subscriber authentication gateway(350) and a charging information server(360). The subscriber authentication gateway determines whether a person is a subscriber with regard to a location information request signal. The charging information server is associated with the subscriber authentication gateway to provide location measuring impossibility information due to location measuring nonpermission in order to stop location measuring.
