<p>The method involves determining a distance to a predefined object. An electronically controllable device (2) i.e. short range or near field radar device, is automatically deactivated, if the distance to the object is smaller than a threshold value. The controllable device is connected with a position determining device (4). Actual position data is transferred to the controllable device by the determining device, and the controllable device determines whether the distance is smaller the threshold value. The position determining device is integratable in the electronically controllable device.</p> |
