A laser welding apparatus for a spacer grid of a nuclear fuel assembly is provided to automate the device of welding spacer gratings and to implement precise and accurate welding. A laser welding apparatus for a spacer grid of a nuclear fuel assembly comprises a welding tool inserted outside of a spacer grid of a nuclear fuel assembly to be welded, a chamber(320) with one open side, a first rotational welding plate which is equipped within the chamber and rotates in a specific direction, a second rotational welding plate in which the spacer grid combined with the welding tool is mounted, a laser source which is positioned on the top of the welding apparatus body, in which the chamber is attached, and supplies laser, and a focusing head attached to a z-axis linear actuator.
