SECRETE KEY SETTING METHOD OF INTEGRATED METER READING SERVICE BASED ON POWER LINE COMMUNICATION

A secrete key setting method of integrated meter reading service based on power line communication is provided to perform the network security between gathering apparatus in the house and a wireless meter by receiving a group ID and setting a security key. An engineer installing a wireless meter registers an address of a wireless meter of a gathering apparatus(HCU). A secret key generated at random at the wireless meter(MEWL) is hashed as a first hashing security key by a hash function. A round key value of the wireless meter and a secret key is encrypted by using the first hashing secret key as an encryption key, and the password secret key is generated. The password secret key and secret key are transmitted to the gathering apparatus, and a second hashing secret is generated by hashing the received secret key. The password hashing secret is decoded by using the second hashing secret key with a decryption key.
