Provided is a pharmaceutical composition containing grape extracts, which have an antioxidative function and effects of inhibiting expression of ADP-ribosylation factor 3(ARF-3) and increasing expression of Tissue inhibitors of metalloproteinases-2(TIMP-2). A pharmaceutical composition comprises grape extracts selected among Kyoho, Delaware, Campbell early and Niagara. A method for preparing the grape extracts consists of the following steps of: pulverizing grapes and extracting the grape extracts using a solvent of water, C3-C6 low alcohol, C3-C6 low organic acids, C3-C6 low alcohol ester, C3-C6 low ketone or a C3-C6 halogenated hydrocarbon; and collecting the grape extracts.
