The device has a lower unit (4) comprising two shaping rollers movably mounted along an axis and a third shaping roller movably mounted along another axis. An upper unit (8) has two shaping rollers movably mounted along a third axis and a third shaping roller movably mounted along a fourth axis. A rotary plate (12) is arranged between the lower unit and the upper unit. A locking unit comprises three quarter-turn clamping plates and three clamping cylinders for locking an exhaust case (16) on the rotary plate. An independent claim is also included for a method for circular shaping of a revolution piece such as an exhaust case of a jet engine of an aircraft.
