The device has a platform movably assembled on a curved part of a bumper. The platform has a positioning unit positioning the curved part on a structure (30) in a middle position in which the bumper is removable along a disassembling direction. A locking unit locks the curved part on the structure in a final position in which the bumper is blocked with respect to the structure along the disassembling direction. The platform is moved from the middle position to the final position by simple transformation with respect to the curved part and the structure in a fixation direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling and fixing a bumper on a structure of a vehicle.
