PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION FOR TREATING OR PREVENTING HCV INFECTION

摘要

The present inventors examined the anti-HCV effect of SPT inhibitors and/or interferon using HCV subgenomic replicon cell FLR3-1 and chimeric mice infected with HCV. The results demonstrate that myriocin and the compound of formula (III), which are SPT inhibitors, can serve as novel therapeutic agents for HCV infection, and that the combined use of these SPT inhibitors and interferon provides a stronger effect of inhibiting HCV replication.
