A method of controlling a manless automatic terminal to print an image and an automatic terminal using the same are provided to perform a pickup mode in which a printed matter is picked up in a specific condition and a print mode, thereby having no need to wait while an image is printed. An input unit(120) selects a print mode or a pickup mode. A printing unit(180) generates printed matters by printing an image in a print mode. A repository unit(190) keeps the printed matters generated in the print mode. A controller(140) comprises an ordered information setup unit setting up order information and the first authenticator determining whether the order information in the pickup mode coincides with the order information of the print mode. If the order information in the pickup mode coincides with the order information of the print mode, a discharge unit(195) discharges the printed matters. |
