A radio control model device, a control device of the radio control model device and a frequency hopping pattern selection method in wireless frequency hopping spread spectrum communication are provided to update a value of information memorized in a non-volatile memory to avoid collision of a wireless zone. A control device comprises a wireless zone use detector and a transmitter. The wireless zone use detector starts to detect whether it is used from an initial wireless zone as a start point. The wireless zone use detector detects whether it is used successively until an unused wireless zone is detected. The wireless zone use detector updates a value of stored information before starting to use the control device(ST110).
