A system and a method for providing vehicle parking information using a navigation satellite are provided to enhance use efficiency about a vehicle parking space by providing information of a vehicle parking space region with a satellite navigation technology. A system for providing vehicle parking information includes an external navigation satellite, a monitoring device, a parking space checking device, a position information calculating device(40), and an external navigation satellite control center. The position information calculating device includes a receiving part(41), a navigation signal processing part(42), a position calculating part(43), an information adding up part(44), and a transmitting part(45). The receiving part receives a navigation signal, a securing signal of a vehicle parking available space, and an image of the vehicle parking available space.
