Provided is a pharmaceutical composition containing natural plants, which have antiphlogistic, pain, antifebrile, oxygen-resistant and anti-histamine effects for treatment of atopic asthma and allergic rhinitis. A pharmaceutical composition containing natural plants comprises the 4-40 parts of Platycodon grandiflorum A. De Candolle, the 2-20 parts of Glycyrrhiza uralensis, the 1-10 parts of Mentha arvensis var. piperascens, the 0.5-10 parts of propolis and the 1-10 parts of menthol by weight. The pharmaceutical composition is formulated as troche. A method for preparing the pharmaceutical composition consists of the following steps of: mixing the Platycodon grandiflorum A. De Candolle and Glycyrrhiza uralensis and reflux-extracting the mixture with water or ethanol to obtain mixed herbs extracts; and mixing propolis and menthol to the mixed herbs extracts.
