Disclosed is a compound represented by formula (I) wherein X is a sulfur atom, an oxygen atom or a nitrogen atom which may have a substituent(s); RingA represents 4-(trifluoromethyl)piperindin-1-yl, 2,2-difluoro-1,3-benzodioxol-5-yl or 3,4-dihydro-1H-isoquinolin-2-yl, a salt thereof, or a solvate thereof or a prodrug thereof. Also disclosed is the use of the above compound for preparing a preventive and/or therapeutic agent for PPAR-mediated disease.
