A signal reproduction method, a magnetic head and a magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus are provided to achieve signal detection with high signal-noise ratio by detecting the phase difference between adjacent signals from a magnetic oscillator and reading out the medium signal. A signal reproduction method comprises a step of extracting signal from a magnetic oscillator(21) in which the oscillation frequency is modulated by media magnetic field, and a step of the phase difference between adjacent extracted signals and reproducing media record signal. In the reproduction step, the phase difference between the current signal extracted from the magnetic oscillator and the delay signal obtained by delaying the signal prior to the current signal.
