A method for producing a heat exchanger having a flow-through chamber for a heat transfer medium. The method includes joining two walls together to make a hollow body capable of experiencing a flow through it. The walls are fastened together by a material deformation. Circular indentations are cut out of the walls to provide reinforcement by deformation of the material. The walls are joined at these indentations. The walls are then fastened to one another by compression molding at the connection points within the indentations. |
