Mechanism of combustion generating at least one jet of flame

The mechanism (10) for generating a flame jet has a volume (12) formed of at least one vertical structure (14) and two opposing horizontal structures (16,18). A rotatable fan (34) is located within the volume, and is rotatable in a plane generally parallel to the planes of the horizontal structures (16,18). The mechanism also contains means (36) for igniting a combustible gas which is contained within the volume, to propel a flame jet outside of the volume.
