<p>The invention relates to a greasing agent for natural leather, comprising shark liver oil, and to a process for obtaining the same. The greasing agent for natural leather, which is emulsifiable in water, obtained from shark liver oil, as claimed by the invention, consists of 30% water and 70% total fatty substances, of which 30 - 35% emulsifying fatty substances and 65-70% emulsified fatty substances consisting of sulphated triglycerides, alkylglycerols, unsaturated hydrocarbons and polyunsaturated fatty acids resisting to oxidation. The process for obtaining the greasing agent, by the sulphonation of the shark liver oil, with 25-30% by weight as compared to the amount of oil, concentrated sulphuric acid, and washing the reaction mass with 17% NaCl solution, is characterized in that the sulphonation is carried out with 94-96% concentration sulphuric acid, at a temperature of 20-25A C, and neutraliyation of the reaction mass up to a 5.5-6.5 pH is performed with mono-, di- or triethanolamine.</p> |
