FIELD: technological processes; metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is related to metallurgy, more precisely to production of thick sheets from low-alloyed chrome-containing steels used in manufacture of welded bodies of heavy-load trucks. Slabs are heated for rolling to 1200-1260°C, and multi-stage hot rolling is carried out with the temperature in the rolling end of 800-920°C, afterwards sheets are cooled by water down to temperature of 450-600°C, and then sheets are cooled in air. Besides in process of sheets cooling by water they are straightened with sign-alternating bending. ^ EFFECT: improved mechanical properties, reduction of nonflatness and higher yield of proper sheets. ^ 2 cl, 3 tbl, 1 ex |
