FIELD: physics, measurement. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in designing of active location (radio location, sonar, laser and other) stations (LS) for detection of targets with antennas installed on movable carriers (buoys, platforms, water crafts, air crafts, etc). In method for detection of target motion absolute parameters observed by active location station installed on movable carrier, which includes calculation of absolute course and speed of observed object by summation of vectors of target relative speed determined by readings of location station, and absolute speed of location system carrier, the following new criteria have been introduced: absolute speed of location station carrier is defined as equal to average relative speed of steady targets group observed by location station, and absolute course of carrier is determined as opposite to the average relative course of this group of steady targets. ^ EFFECT: expansion of prototype application conditions by provision of its serviceability with absence of navigation system on LS carrier. ^ 2 cl |
