Use of an active ingredient capable of stimulating and/or increasing the expression of adipose triglyceride lipase (ATGL) and/or comparative gene identification-58 (CGI-58) in skin cells, to prepare a cosmetic and/or dermopharmaceutical composition for slimming, is claimed. An independent claim is included for a process for obtaining the active ingredient, comprising solubilizing Scabiosa arvensisand/or Ligusticum sinensein water, and enzymatic hydrolysis.
