FIELD: heating. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of heat-exchange equipment. The heat exchanger consists of a cross-flow bundle of shaped tubes with a surface composed of conjugated circular cylinders of varied (larger and smaller) outer diameter and manifolds with tube plates. With in-line (corridor) arrangement pattern varied diameter front and rear parts of each tube sequentially alternate in the bundle longitudinal and cross rows; with trigonal (chequerwise) arrangement pattern it is the smaller diameter front part of the tubes in the bundle that is turned towards the flow. With any arrangement pattern the shell sides form longitudinal confuser-diffuser ducts of varied cross-section. ^ EFFECT: tubular surface heating capacity improvement, reduction of the heat exchanger weight and overall dimensions and decrease of the fabrication process metal intensity. ^ 5 dwg |
