FIELD: transport, conveyors. ^ SUBSTANCE: conveyor belt driving drum features shell, made up of separate elements (6) arranged spaced with gaps (5) and furnished with lining (10). Each of the said elements features two flat springs (7,8) to couple them with hubs (2,3) to allow springs deflecting in direction of the driving drum rotation. The drum parameters are selected from the expressions delta>lambda,lambda=1/3Tl(EJ)-1[exp(mualpha)-1][exp(mualpha)]-1, alpha=2pi/n, where delta is gap between adjacent elements of the drum shell; m, T is maximum tension of the conveyor belt at the point of its lapping off the driving drum, N; lambda is belt elastic elongation on its tensioning (T), l is distance between the point of flat spring pinch on the said hub and the driving drum cylindrical surface, m; E is flat spring material modulus of elongation, N/m2; J is flat spring axial moment of inertia, m4; mu is factor of cohesion between the conveyor belt and driving drum lining, alpha is central angle between flat springs of the driving drum shell adjacent elements, rad; n is number of the driving drum shell elements. ^ EFFECT: higher traction ability of driving drum at minimum wear of lining. ^ 2 dwg |
