TECHNIQUE OF MOCHAR-TYPE HYDROMORPHIC SOIL AGRICULTURAL AMELIORATION

FIELD: agriculture. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention deals with a technique utilised fror agricultural amelioration of slope plots of mochar-type hydromorphic soils. Proposed agricultural amelioration technique envisages arrangement of a mole drainage system passing through the hydromorphic soil plot hydrocentre. Above the hydrocentre the mole drain lines are arranged parallel to each other at 1.5 m spacing and along the main slope. Underneath the hydrocentre the mole drain lines are arranged at 5-10 m spacing crosswise relative to the main slope along terrain contours whose angle of slant is no less than 0.03-0.05%. ^ EFFECT: provision for sustained flow of ground waters through the drain lines; drain line clogging prevention; water flow derivation away from the main drain line; regular distribution of water flow across the soil surface; enhanced efficiency of mochar-type soils local amelioration; minimisation of the risk of repeated waterlogging locus formation during arrangement of the mole drainage system within the sloped plots. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg
