The combination of a quaternary morpholine calcium-antagonist and a polydimethylsiloxane in a single tablet or capsule, may provide a mechanism that avoids abdominal distension, thereby providing patients suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) or diverticulosis with a suitable relaxation in order to avoid discomfort and possible abdominal pain; the same intake includes an antifoam useful for avoiding possible distensions or abdominal irregularities due to the gas formation; even when the gases are not a problem as such, a polymethyilsiloxane may help to reduce the time of the deposition residence in the bowel, since it acts as a lubricant over the intestinal wall. The fact of pouring said two substances in a single capsule or tablet or solution prevents the patient from the intake of several tablets, capsules or solutions, thereby providing an integral solution for IBS or diverticulosis amongst others.
