The device includes a catheter sensor unit (2) which is distally implanted in the parenchyma and/or the ventricles by passing through the skull bone (4). The sensor unit is proximally fixed to the skull bone. A proximal peripheral portion of the sensor unit comprises a self-cutting external thread (5) for fixing the sensor unit to the skull bone.
