FIELD: transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lifting machine incorporated with handling equipment and measuring load in said machine. Said lifting machine comprises motor mounted on frame, shaft engaged with motor to revolve in preset direction. To lock shaft rotation, brake is used. With brake displacing in undesirable direction, at least, one load pickup resists that displacement to generate load signal originating at braking force application.
