<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate setting change and maintenance work for a plurality of network printers installed as well as updating of a printer control program, and to reduce working hours. <P>SOLUTION: Means are provided for transmitting a file for updating printer control program to a certain specific network printer, transferring the file for updating printer control program from the printer to a different printer after the printer is connected to a customer network, and remotely controlling the different printer by using an operation panel of the printer as the operation panel for the different printer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
