PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the center of gravity of a golf club head.
SOLUTION: A golf club has a shaft and a body 100 coupled to the shaft. The body 100 has a toe end, a heel end located on the side opposite to the toe end, a front end, a back end located on the side opposite to the front, a front face 150 located at the front end, a top wall 160, and a bottom wall 270 located on the side opposite to the top wall 160. The body 100 further has a body height 205 measured in a first direction substantially normal to the bottom wall 270 from the bottom wall 270 to the top point of the front face 150. The body 100 further has a center of gravity 280 and a center of gravity height 285 measured in the first direction along a center of gravity line extended from the bottom wall 270 to the center of gravity 280. The body 100 has a center of gravity ratio, which consists of the center of gravity height 285 to body height 250, and the center of gravity ratio which is less than 0.50.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
|
