<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control sheet capable of making compatible the enhancement of vibration controllability and a constitution reduced in weight, exerting excellent adhesiveness, and simplifying affixing operation. <P>SOLUTION: The vibration control sheet 1 is manufactured through such a procedure that a restraining layer 3 containing glass cloth and/or aluminum foil is laminated on a viscoelastic layer 2 containing hollow glass balloons and bubble cells. In this sheet 1, enhanced vibration controllability and a constitution reduced in weight are made compatible, so that when affixed to steel plates 4 of an automobile requiring the reduction of weight, the sheet 1 can preclude effectively the generation of vibratory sounds and other noise. Further owing to its excellent adhesiveness, the sheet 1 can be affixed to steel plates certainly to contribute to the maintenance of the described effect for a long period of time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
