PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem specific to a radiograph image which could arise when applying an independent component analysis technique for performing energy subtraction on the radiograph image, and to separate an image component to be separated with higher precision. SOLUTION: A medium frequency component extracting part 21 extracts the image component in a space frequency band including a plurality of components from a plurality of radiograph images before an independent component analysis part 24 uses the independent component analysis to find a separating coefficient for separating the plurality of image components from the plurality of radiograph images.
