PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless headphone system in which charging can mutually be performed between batteries which are mounted on a portable audio apparatus and a wireless headphone, respectively. SOLUTION: A first remaining capacity detecting means detects remaining capacity of a first battery, a second remaining capacity detection means detects remaining capacity of a second battery, a connection detection means detects that the portable audio apparatus is connected to the wireless headphone, a charging destination determining means compares the remaining capacity of the first battery detected by the first remaining capacity detecting means with the remaining capacity of the second battery detected by the second remaining capacity detecting means and determines either the first battery or the second battery as a charging destination on the basis of a prescribed condition when it is detected that the portable audio apparatus is connected to the wireless headphone, and a charging control means performs control to charge one battery determined as the charging destination by the other battery.
