PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce pushing force from a door when closing operation of the door of a commodity take-out port of an automatic vending machine is blocked. SOLUTION: This door opening/closing device for the automatic vending machine has: the door opening/closing along an opening face of the commodity take-out port; a drive motor generating drive force for closing the door after opening the door for a prescribed time when a commodity selection button is depressed; a transmission member transmitting the drive force to the door; an elastic member elastically energizing the transmission member toward the door; a guide member guiding the transmission member to a direction to which it moves away from the door against elastic force of the elastic member according to the drive force caused by closing the door when closing operation is blocked in a process for closing the door: and a detection member detecting that the transmission member moves away from the door at a prescribed distance so as to forbid the closing operation of the door.
