PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for electrophotographic developers which, when used in an electrophotographic developer, narrows a charge amount distribution of toner particles and suppresses variation in a charge amount of each toner particle. SOLUTION: The carrier for electrophotographic developers comprises mixed particles obtained by mixing two or more kinds of resin coated particles having different toner charging performances formed by coating surfaces of magnetic core material particles with resin layers, wherein the resin coated particles having different toner charging performances are preferably different in independent charging performance by≥10μC/g in terms of triboelectric charge amount to toner. The carrier for electrophotographic developers has a shape factor SF1 of 100-120 and a shape factor SF2 of 100-110, and contains 0-5 mass% of particles having a particle diameter of <20 nm, and 98-100 mass% of particles having a particle diameter of <44 nm. When a magnetic field of 1 kOe is applied, the core material particles have a magnetization of 50-150 emu/g. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
