PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector, simply raising and lowering a body unit having main function with respect to a base unit fitted to a ceiling. SOLUTION: This projector includes: the base unit 3 fitted to the ceiling 6 surface; the body unit 2 supported to the base unit 3 from below to freely engage and disengage and having the main function; a pulley 11 provided on the base unit 3; and a rope 12, which suspends the body unit 2 at the fixed end, and elevates the body unit 2 between a locking position for locking the body unit 2 to the base unit 3 and a maintenance position right under the locking position through the pulley at the free end side.
